The Music Ministry of La Jolla Christian Fellowship offers worship opportunities for all people. The greatest desire of our Music Ministry is to enhance our members and visitors worship experience and bring us closer to God during our time together.

Olen Ellis, Music Director

Olen is Music Director at La Jolla Christian Fellowship, leading the Worship Team. 

Olen was raised in Virginia, but has lived most of his life in San Diego and is a graduate of San Diego State University. At about the time of his graduation from SDSU, he started playing guitar and helping to lead the hymns at a startup church in the then new community of Mira Mesa.  

He is married to Lorie; they have four grown children: Will, Matt, Erik, and Lauren. Olen loves serving the Lord through music, and has just finished recording an instrumental CD. He is a gifted musician and has been called to a life of music ministry.
