High School Summer Camp Catalina Island Aug 10-13

LJ Middle and HS Summer Camps Catalinad. Hey LJCF Parents: Do you have a H.S or Middle School student who needs to get away, find some normalcy in the great outdoors? La Jolla Christian Fellowship has been working closely with the city to find creative and fun solutions to our current health crisis. We are excited to announce a 4 day and 3 night outdoor camping experience to Catalina Island. Aug 3-7 Middle School and Aug 10-13 H.S. All info below. Take your summer back in a safe yet adventurous way!

Cost includes all food and transportation from the ferry landing as well as Kayak and SUP rentals. A parent meeting will be held on Zoom before the event. TBD

Middle School & High School Summer Camps:

ABOUT: A 3 night outdoor camping adventure! This camp will take place on Catalina Island and will be all outdoors with tent camping. The theme is survivor and will consist of fun challenges, games, competitions, and prizes. We are really excited about the opportunity to get away and not only have fun, but also explore faith in an amazing location.

WHEN: Middle School is August 3-6 & High School is August 13-16. I will send more info about drop off and pick up times and locations shortly!

Additional Trips/Camps Safety Information:

All students will have their temperature checked upon arrival. Students with a fever will be sent home. During the trip, students will be monitored for symptoms and asked to report any symptoms that arise.
We are strongly encouraging frequent hand washing and will have hand sanitizer readily available.
We are complying with safety precautions provided by the ferry over to the island.
Students will be asked to wear facial coverings in public areas.
This camp is designed to be outdoors and distanced as much as possible to create the safest get away for our kids.
